Discussions on Film - July films at RARA

This year, once again, Discussions on Film are hosted by RARA at their warehouse space in East London. Discussions' events are intended to bring together Architecture and Film. Our evenings dispense with the formality of cinema and instead appropriate spaces, transforming them into impromptu rough urban screens.
We are driven by a passion for film and a desire to explore the discursive and narrative possibilities of the medium in relation to architecture and cities. After the screenings there is a chance to have an informal discussion over drinks.
This year we will continue the theme of the ‘Metropolitan Journey’, first explored at last year’s London Festival of Architecture.

Once again we have had a great response and received a high standard of work; our line-up will be a mixture of films by filmmakers, video artists and architects who make films. We will journey through London Circa 1981, Havana 2011 and 1998, Hong – Kong, unidentified cities and others more familiar.

Come along for 8pm
