
The cover of the card depicts a piece of the RIBA headquarters being used by RARA, and hints at the redundancy of the former institution, particularly its headquarters which is now largely rented out for private functions such as weddings. The valuable Portland stone cladding is shown to be sold off and replaced by affordable OSB sheets.
Inside the card, a letter is written to the President, with the offer of a new lease of life to the building as a Christmas gift. This coup was mentioned in Building Design magazine, a copy of which was obtained in RIBA's bookshop.
