Free Unit diploma students from London Metropolitan University ASD utilised RARA's spillout space for their annual Drawing Workshop.Lasting one week, the Drawing workshop encourged students to work through their proposals through sectional drawing (pencil + paper only - no rulers allowed), going through two cycles of 1:1, 1:5, 1:20, 1:100, 1:500, and 1:1000, thrashing out as-yet unresolved issues for final crit and portfolio hand in.
The Free Unit commissioned a giant 6ft x 24 ft table to be constructed by RARA, allowing 12 A0 workspaces. All materials will be reused to fit out the barge during this summer's Bargetopia.
