RARA is working in collaboration with Scout to produce ten structures clad in materials found in typical London neighbourhoods. Here are a few words from the designers:

In June of 2013 Southbank Centre will host the Festival of the Neighbourhood, a summer-long celebration of all things neighbourly. Scout is thrilled to be creating a series of 'Points of Welcome' - wayfinding stations that will be located throughout the Festival. Inspired by the discarded materials one might find in a typical London neighbourhood, the Points of Welcome are a play on retro wayfinding - X marks the spot folks!
