Did we tell you RARA is a Cooperative?

RARA began to think about forming a Cooperative more than a year ago. This structure was chosen because the former organisational setup did not allow for the majority of RARA members to benefit from contributing to its growth.

Unfortunately, only the founding members are mentioned in this article about RARA, published by The Co-Operative Enterprise Hub. And so I'd like to thank all of the current and past members, both transient and longer term, who've assisted with the formation of this Co-Operative. In addition, I'd like to especially thank Andrew Marsh and Laure Ledard who both deserve credit for their prolonged voluntary efforts which have been paramount to RARA Co-op's success.

And an extra special thanks to Sion Whellens, from the Co-op enterprise hub, who has been a fountain of Co-op knowledge and a very patient resource for RARA.

Cheers!

  1. I think it is wonderful that you are a co-operative, but what type of co-operative are you? Be great if you posted a copy of your rules on the website (or at least your registration numbers, which technically legally you're probably obliged to do ;) ) look forwarding to visiting at some point! :)
