RARA Makes some noise at the Tate Britain

Clinkety clank, creak, whirr, judder judder, creak, crack, 'it's going to break', 'shift the weight', creak thud, clinkety clank, clinkety clink, clink, clink, clinkety clink - hooray it's up!

Laure Ledard made it happen. With a modest budget and little time she was assisted by the artists and curators put together by the Tate Britain in delivering a number of large pieces of work that formed the backdrop to the recent 'Homecoming' event.

The work was temporary, lasting half a day and the installation of the 6m tall wind chime was very noisy. One couple mistook the installation of the installation as...well...an art...installation.

Many thanks to all involved - Installation for the Nation.
