Acoustic Explorations

The Oral History Museum is a prototype modular museum. It is designed to be easily transported and adapted between locations and to host a number of different sound projects. OHM hopes to underline the history and lives of people in isolated areas by promoting an attitude of listening. By inviting artists to use the listening spaces to exhibit work made using the recorded voices from the region, Acid Mist hope to increase participation in local history, culture and architecture. A 50 cone structure will be installed in the forests around Treignac in dialogue with the sound artist Tessa Joosse.
