Sam Potts is investigating some speculative directions for RARA through his professional diploma work at London Metropolitan University's Free Unit.
The Free Unit is a unique programme within the realms of architectural education in that it allows students to define and pursue their own agendas or interests, through writing a 'contract' of what they hope to achieve during their study, and their own choosing of tutors to help guide them through their year.
