A group of diploma students from London Metropolitan University spent a week at RARA building a 1:25 model of a proposed 15 storey water tower, for their technology module.
Although a workshop is available at their school, they wouldn't have been able to complete the model in time due to the limited access (RARA is open 24/7 however).
The bottom-heavy model weighs in at an approximate 45kgs, thanks to a copious amount of cast plaster of Paris.
Photographed pro bono by Barry, a generous resident pro photographer, at RARA, this image could arguably contain overtones of 2001: A Space Odyssey.
